In addition to her activities as an artist, Louise is also a published Editor and writer with an on-going interest in critical discourse. In 2011 Louise was responsible for founding and editing a new visual arts magazine, Peel, in collaboration with Gallery North whose aim was to develop new and existing audiences by extending the culture of debate initiated by the gallery itself.

Louise contributes to a number of international online magazines such as Corridor8, ArtSelector and This is Tomorrow which support and unite critically engaged art practitioners and viewers by providing innovative and discursive platforms for contemporary art.
